This is a NIkko Collections,10" large sized, round cast iron grill pan with off-white cream gloss enamel exterior finish to resist rusting and provide a more elegant presentation rather than a typical dull gray cast iron pan. The pan is deeper than traditional flat skillets which makes it ideal for braising steaks and making tempura. Nikko Collections is a Japanese inspired line of kitchenware. Features double-handles (one long handle and opposite grab handle) for easier grip while cooking. Has two molded lips for pouring fats and liquids. Cast iron cookware gets much hotter than steel or aluminum pans without warping, and great for searing meats, braising vegetables or bacon. Unlike pans with plastic or wood handles, a cast iron pan can be placed entirely in an oven up to 400-degrees F.
